SA-23E Aurora Starfury - Battle of the Line

An evolution of the fourth generation Nova, the Aurora-class Starfury was Earth Force's premier fighter from 2244 until being superseded by the Thunderbolt in 2259. The Aurora took the basic Nova layout and added more powerful engines, stronger structure, improved weaponry and a much improved tracking system, most of these being derived from Dilgar technology. Although agile enough to take on the Minbari Nial, Earth sensors could not detect the enemy and the lack of BVR targeting was Earth Force's undoing.

The example here is painted in the colours of the Starfury Lieutenant-Commander Jeffrey Sinclair took into the Battle of the Line. By the time Sinclair took command of Babylon 5, he had painted his fighter in the same scheme as the Nova Fury his father flew in the Dilgar War.
